I have very mild depression but also very persistent. I have taken meds in the past which have helped but they all have come with a high price tag - side effects. Now, I have sworn off all meds and want to address the depression the natural way through eating healthy foods, exercising, etc. Some days are better than others but overall, depression seems to be right by my side, ready to pounce when there's even a small window of opportunity. If my life is not perfect, I spiral downward. It suck but it's just so much a part of me.
Mom is here on a visit from out-of-state and has been here for 3 days now. Her unsolicited advice: 1) how do you clean your wood floor, you need to disinfect your wood floor 2) You need to clean your shower floor better 3) ew, the dog shoudn't sleep on your bed, it's gross 4) you should use soft soap instead of those perfume soap 5) you should get a flat screen tv 6) you should call your daughter to say goodnight (she's at a one night sleep-over and she's 12) 7) you should eat more fruits 8) you should try this face wash, it's the best 9) Your compost will probably not work
* I am utterly insulted because my house has been professionally cleaned! I am sorry but it cannot be any more clean than that.
